Vice Principal’s Message

A Message From Our Vice Principal

Latoya Wallace Gayle
Latoya Wallace-Gayle – Vice Principal

In my capacity as Vice Principal, I am dignified to welcome you to the Little All Age and Infant School’s website. “To Strive, To Serve And Not To Yield’ is the school’s motto. Consequently, providing quality service to our students, parents, the community and the nation, in general, is our greatest priority. Our passionate and dedicated staff promises not to yield in creating a warm school climate in which our children’s holistic needs are catered to.

Little Bay Primary is an awesome child-friendly school which believes in equity among students. As a result, our qualified teachers are committed to provide a high-quality learning experience that focuses on the individual needs of each child. We thrive to unearth the creativity and innovation in our students through the use of various approaches and activities which encourage students to develop critical-thinking and learn through enquiry and reasoning. We are cognizant of the fact that our children are 21st-century learners who require 21-century skills to function in society. Thus, the utilization of technology and the internet are paramount in our lessons, in order to cater to their multiple and unique needs.

We value relationships and connections with the community. Our students are encouraged to develop respectful relationships with their peers, staff, and the broader community. We instil in students a keen social conscience and the capacity to make ethical decisions. We work assiduously to develop and sustain productive partnerships and connections with our parents, local schools, and other stakeholders. We are proud to have provided quality service to the community since the school’s inception in 1972.

We welcome your contributions and partnership as we labour collectively to bring forth, ambitious, articulate and innovative students. As Benjamin Franklin states, ‘An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.” I urge you parents, community members, and all stakeholders to collaborate with us as we invest our time and efforts in our children so they can yield great returns.
